Ketut farm homestay is a Balinese family Homestay set in a large tropical garden, in the village of Cepaka-Gadung Sari – Selemadeg Timur in the beautiful Tabanan region of  Bali, Indonesia.
Our Homestay is conveniently located 60 Km from Denpasar Airport, about 1 hour and 15 minuts drive. Safe and reliable pick up and transfer from any location in Bali can be easily arranged.

Cepaka is a small village with a population of 475, made up mostly of farmers committed to continuing traditional Balinese values. Our strong community works harmoniously together. We have Kindergarten and Elementary school in the village and our school teacher come from the Village. We have three main Hindu Temples and some  smaller temples. Each family compound has its own Temple. Our village cemetery is also used for cremation ceremonies.

Cepaka has beautiful rice terraces on  the slopes of Mount Batukaru. Local plantations grow crops of coconuts, cocoa, caffee, banana, papaya, pineapple and bamboo. We also plant spices and vegetables, and raise chickens, ducks, cows, buffaloes and the garden is full of beautiful butterflies.

The village is just like a lush tropical forest. Our beautiful location offers great hiking opportunities.
I am your host, Ketut Sudiasa. I was born in 1968 and have experience in the hotel industry and have been working as a tour guide since 1993. My guests are mainly European and I speak both English and German. I offer driving and tour services throughout Bali and East Java, as well as hosting guests staying at our farm homestay.

My wife, Made, speaks some English and although she has restaurant cooking experience, she now stays at home to take care of the children and help my mother cook. We have 3 children; one daughter (Candra) and twin boys (Krisna and Yoga). Altogether we are nine people including my parents.

Our wish is to offer guests a memorable, peaceful and authentic rural Balinese experience. We do this by providing comfortable clean rooms, excellent meals made with fresh local ingredients; by offering cooking classes for Indonesian cuisine, exposing and including guests in our spiritual traditions and ceremonies, sharing our farming techniques and welcoming guests to our friendly family culture.

Please come enjoy a relaxing time at Ketut Fam Homestay. Experience real Bali.
